Gordon Kennedy won three Grammy Awards including a Grammy for Song of the Year, which was “Change the World” recorded by Eric Clapton. He also wrote the hits “You Move Me” recorded by Garth Brooks, and “I Can’t Help You Now” recorded by Bonnie Raitt. Kennedy also wrote songs that appeared on the multi-platinum albums of Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, and George Strait. He has also written songs that appeared on the soundtracks Phenomenon, Tin Cup, For Love of the Game, Where the Heart Is, Almost Famous, Summer Catch, Someone Like You, The Banger Sisters, and Fox and the Hound, II. Kennedy was also a member of the award-winning Christian bands “Whiteheart” and “Dogs of Peace”.
